I love traveling and trying out new food. This blog is all about cooking classic recipes from around the world — sometimes with a twist. Eggs in Pots, the eponymous recipe for this blog is one of my favorite French recipe to make and it exemplifies the type of classic cuisine that I love to try.
Food is one of those universal language that people around the world can connect to each other with. After all, everybody eats. There’s something about going to a foreign place or a totally different culture and trying out their cuisine. You can learn a lot about the place and its people by just sampling the food they eat.
I love to eat pretty much anything with mushroom and olives being the few exceptions. Even then, I still love enoki mushroom so technically I can still chalk mushroom on my “yes” column but I digress. Until recently, I’ve been intimidated by baking because precise measurement is kind of a foreign concept to me. The Banoffee Pie recipe was the very first thing I’ve ever baked from scratch.
